Ferry from Positano to Naples

Discounts vary slightly depending on the ferry company you travel with, but usually children up to 1-2 years old travel free on all Positano to Naples ferries, and those up to 11-12 years old can receive up to 40% off.

On board all vessels traveling from Positano to Naples, you will find air-conditioned areas, comfortable seating, and other amenities. Most ferries also sell snacks and drinks.

Some ferries have dedicated facilities for people with disabilities, including reserved seating and accessible restrooms. We recommend you contact the company before you travel as not all vessels offer the same services. 

Keep in mind that you won't be able to take your car with you, as all vessels are hydrofoil or high-speed ferries, which do not have car decks.

• NLG: passengers can take 1 bag up to 50×30×15 cm and 5 kg free of charge. Additional or larger baggage can be purchased when booking with Ferryhopper.
• Positano Jet: there is an extra charge for each bag, regardless of size but no limit to the number of bags you can travel with.

Traveling with pets

Pets are welcome to travel on all ferries from Positano to Naples for an additional fare.  Dogs should wear a muzzle and must be kept on a lead. Cats and other pets must be kept in a carrier. Please note that you may be asked to show your pet's health certificate before boarding.

Where to take the ferry from Positano to Naples

Ferries to Naples depart from the only pier in the small port of Positano. The harbour is very close to the town center and the Marina Grande beach.

There are bars, restaurants and boat rentals in the area of the port. You'll also find many shops and hotels along the streets that run through the center and towards the upper part of the town.
