Information about Elba
Elba is the largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago; with pristine beaches, rolling hills, and charming villages, it’s a top destination for both relaxation and outdoor enthusiasts.
Known for its rich history and a stunning landscape, Elba offers a bit of everything for everyone. Hike up Monte Capanne for breathtaking views, discover the ancient mines in Rio Marina, and explore the island’s vibrant underwater world. History lovers should definitely visit Napoleon’s residences and the island’s quaint medieval towns.
The southern part of Elba is where you’ll find some of its most popular beaches, such as Cavoli and Fetovaia, along with family-friendly resorts. For a more tranquil and authentic experience, explore the northern and eastern sides of the island, where hidden coves, verdant landscapes, and picturesque villages, such as Capoliveri and Marciana await.
And, of course, don’t miss the chance to soak in the local charm of Portoferraio, Elba’s capital and cultural heart!
