Liberty Lines Ferries: ferry routes announced for 2024

Liberty Lines recently published the 2024 ferry schedule for Calabria, Sicily and its archipelagos (Aeolian, Egadi, Pantelleria, Pelagie, and Ustica Islands).

The relevant routes are provided on a three-season basis to benefit both commuters and seasonal visitors.

Check out all Liberty Lines 2024 ferry routes that are already available online:

Liberty Lines ferry routes between Calabria and Sicily

The new Reggio Calabria - Messina Strait line is among the most popular, thanks in part to the fact that it will have twice as many departures every day of the year beginning October 1, 2023.

You can also take the Vibo Valentia - Milazzo ferry between Calabria and Sicily, which runs 2 times per week from June to September.

Useful info: in the summer, you can also travel by sea between the northwest coast and the northeast tip of Sicily using the Palermo - Milazzo ferries.

Liberty Lines ferry routes to the Aeolian Islands

The fast hydrofoils of Liberty Lines allow you to reach the beautiful Aeolian Islands from some ports in Sicily and even Calabria.

Ferry connections to the Aeolian Islands run almost all year from Milazzo, Messina and Reggio Calabria, with additional ferry departures from Palermo and Vibo Valentia in the summer.

Plan your next trip to Lipari, visit Salina and Stromboli, and don't forget to add Alicudi to your list! Of course, it doesn't stop there: you can also plan your island hopping in the Aeolian Islands and book your tickets for summer 2024 now.

There are numerous Liberty Lines routes to/from the Aeolian Islands' ports, and you will be spoiled for choice. Here are some of the most popular ferry routes:

Have you ever wanted to visit Favignana, Marettimo, or Levanzo? Liberty Lines also travels to the Aegadian Islands (also known as Egadi Islands) year-round!

The port of Trapani is the closest to the Egadi Islands, but Liberty Lines ferries also depart from Marsala between 3 and 5 times per day, depending on the season.

Liberty Lines ferry routes to the Pelagie Islands

Lampedusa or Linosa? Liberty Lines' seasonal ferry routes to the wild Pelagie archipelago are now available! From June to mid-October 2024, you can travel to both islands from Porto Empedocle:

For the upcoming season, Liberty Lines' Porto Empedocle - Linosa hydrofoil will depart at 14:30 and arrive at 17:30. Regarding the ferries to Lampedusa from Porto Empedocle, the same vessel will continue the journey to the island, arriving around 18:45.

Year-round ferries between Linosa and Lampedusa, on the other hand, allow for a 1-hour ferry trip between the two islands.

Liberty Lines ferry routes to Ustica and Pantelleria

The Liberty Lines hydrofoils to Ustica operate all year from the port of Palermo. Depending on the season, the Palermo - Ustica ferry route has 2 to 4 ferry departures per day, with crossings lasting 1.5 hours.

If you want to get to Pantelleria by ferry, you should know that Trapani is the only port connected to the island.

The Trapani - Pantelleria ferries will be operational from June to October 2024, with 1 crossing per day at 13:30 and an arrival time of 16:00.
