The Aegean Flying Dolphins ferry company has announced its ferry schedule from Volos to the Sporades until the end of October 2023. From June 4 to October 6, there are daily ferry crossings from Volos to the Sporades islands.

Important: daily ferry connections will continue as usual until June 4 and from October 7 to 31, with the exception of Saturday, when there will be no ferry crossing.

Aegean Flying Dolphins ferry routes are the fastest way to get to the Sporades from the port of Volos, a seaside town in Thessaly, as most routes are currently served by the fast dolphin Erato, with two more high-speed ferries on the way.

Ferry Volos - Skiathos

There is 1 daily ferry crossing from Volos to Skiathos operated by Aegean Flying Dolphins. The Volos - Skiathos ferry route is served by a high-speed dolphin that takes about 1.5 hours to reach Skiathos.

The Aegean Flying Dolphins ferry leaves Volos at 14:00 and arrives in Skiathos at 15:25. The price of a ferry ticket starts at 41€.

Ferry Volos - Skopelos

There are 2 daily ferries with Aegean Flying Dolphins from Volos to the 2 ports of Skopelos, Chora and Glossa. The Volos - Skopelos (Glossa) ferry route is served by a fast dolphin that arrives at the port of Glossa in about 2 hours. The Volos - Skopelos (Chora) route is also served by a high-speed dolphin, which takes about 2.5 hours to reach the port of Chora.

The Aegean Flying Dolphins ferry leaves Volos at 14:00 and arrives at the port of Glossa in Skopelos at 15:55 and at the main port of Skopelos (Town) at 16:35. Ferry tickets start at 45€ for the Volos - Glossa (Skopelos) route and 51€ for the Volos - Chora (Skopelos) route.

Ferry Volos - Alonissos

There is 1 daily ferry from Volos to Alonissos operated by Aegean Flying Dolphins. The Volos - Alonissos ferry route is served by a high-speed dolphin that takes about 3 hours to reach Alonissos.

The Aegean Flying Dolphins ferry departs Volos at 14:00 and arrives in Alonissos at approximately 17:00. Tickets for the ferry start at 51€. 

Important: Aegean Flying Dolphins ferries do not have car decks for transporting vehicles, but car rental shops can be found on all islands.

Ferries between the Sporades

You can now easily travel from one Sporades island to another or organize island hopping in Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos, thanks to the fast ferry crossings of Aegean Flying Dolphins. 

You can travel by ferry from Skiathos to Skopelos (Glossa) in 15 minutes, or you can take the ferry from Skopelos Town, which takes about 1 hour. The Aegean Flying Dolphins ferry leaves Skiathos at 15:40, arriving at Glossa port at 15:55 and Skopelos Town port at 16:35. Ferry tickets start at €14.50 and €23.50 respectively.

If you want to explore the wild nature of Alonissos, the trip from Skiathos to Alonissos takes just under 1.5 hours. The Aegean Flying Dolphins ferry leaves Skiathos at 15:40, with an estimated arrival time in Alonissos at 17:05. Ferry tickets start at €23,50.

You can also travel from Skopelos to Alonissos. The trip from Skopelos (Town) to Alonissos takes only 25 minutes, while the trip from Glossa to Alonissos takes approximately 1 hour. Ferry tickets start at 12€ and 18€ respectively.
