Where to take the ferry from Venice to Poreč

Ferries to Croatia depart from the San Basilio Passenger Terminal located in the Zattere area of the port of Venice. 

The ferry terminal is just a 15-minute walk from the city center. Alternatively, you can easily reach it using public transportation from Santa Lucia Railway Station, Tronchetto Island, and Piazzale Roma. 

The terminal is very large, with various amenities, such as a waiting room, restrooms, as well as vending machines.

Can I travel on the Venice - Poreč ferry with a car?

No, ferries serving the Venice - Poreč connection do not carry motor vehicles. You are, however, allowed to bring your bicycle on board for an extra charge.

If you decide to arrive in Venice by car, you must take into account that there are no roads in the city. You will, therefore, have to leave your vehicle in one of the paid parking lots in Piazzale Roma.
