Where to take the ferry from Athens (Piraeus) to Folegandros?

You can take the ferry to Folegandros from the port of Piraeus in Athens. The port of Piraeus is located approximately 12 km south of the city center of Athens and 45 km (1-1.5 hr by public transport and 45 min by car) from Athens International Airport.

You can get to Piraeus by car, taxi, as well as public transport (metro, bus or train).

Which gate do ferries to Folegandros depart from?

Ferries from Piraeus to Folegandros normally depart from port gates E7 and E9. Departure gates may change, however, so we recommend checking your ticket and the electronic display boards located at the port for more information.

Where does the ferry arrive in Folegandros?

Ferries from Piraeus near Athens arrive at the main port of Folegandros, which is in Karavostasis. The port is located on the southern shores of the Cycladic island and 5 minutes away from Chora by car. In the area around the port there are cafés, restaurants, ATM and car rentals, as well as hotels and some parking spots.
