How to book your tickets on Ferryhopper

Ferryhopper is the easiest way to find and book ferry tickets for Greece, Italy and many other destinations! Whether you're planning a single trip or an island-hopping adventure, we’ll guide you through the simple and fast process of booking your ferry tickets using our booking engine.

Step 1

If you're booking a one-way or return trip, start by selecting your departure port, destination and travel dates. You can also specify the number of passengers, pets and vehicles at this point.

For a more complex itinerary, select the Multi-destination option. This allows you to plan up to 4 different destinations in one booking. Simply add your departure point, then use the + add trip button to include additional stops. This way, you can effortlessly organize an unforgettable island-hopping experience.

Step 2

After searching for your route, you’ll see a list of available ferry options with important details such as travel time and departure/arrival schedule, ticket prices, availability of e-tickets, as well as cabin, pet, and vehicle space options.

For more details about your trip, such as itinerary specifics, stopovers, pricing, and seat categories, click the small green “info” icon next to the ferry details.

If no direct trips are available on your selected date, you have the following alternatives:

• Check for alternative dates that may have direct routes
• Broaden your search by including all ports in the departure area
• Look for alternative routes with connections to reach your destination

Step 3

Once you've chosen your itinerary, it's time to choose your seat type. If you prefer a cabin, you can book a single bed in a shared cabin or reserve a private cabin for you and your travel companions (subject to availability). 

Specify the fare type and any applicable loyalty club memberships (if available). If you're traveling with a vehicle, choose the correct category (e.g., car, motorcycle) and assign it to a passenger.

Click “View prices” to see the total cost of your trip before proceeding to the next step in the booking process.

Step 4

This is the final step to complete your booking! Double-check all your selections in the trip summary and then fill in passenger and contact details in case we need to contact you regarding your trip.

If your ferry company offers e-ticket services, your boarding pass will be sent via email shortly after completing your reservation. You can either print your ticket or show it on your mobile device when boarding.

If available, you can select a Flexi ticket for easy modifications or add Ferryhopper Plus support for priority assistance.

After checking the box confirming you accept the terms and conditions, click the “Continue to payment” button and you will be redirected to the bank’s secure payment gateway to complete your transaction.

After you check out, make sure to check your mailbox for the confirmation email. And now, all that’s left to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your trip!
