Aegeon Pelagos ferry Prevelis to replace Olympus

Ticket replacement and new schedules

Vessel Olympus was declared "unfit to sail" prior to its first route for the summer, meaning ferry routes were temporarily postponed. Starting July 22, Olympus routes are served by Aegeon Pelagos ferry Prevelis that belongs to the ANEK Lines group.

How do I replace my tickets to travel with Prevelis?

Passengers that had already purchased their ferry tickets to travel with Sea Speed Ferries Olympus, can use the tickets to travel with Prevelis at no extra cost.

Even if new prices are higher than the original tickets, you can replace your tickets for free at an Aegeon Pelagos travel agency.

To replace your tickets, we recommend that you visit one of the relevant travel agencies with your boarding pass.

To find your boarding pass, you can access the confirmation email your received from Ferryhopper to confirm your booking with Olympus. Click on “Get my e-tickets” to locate the pdf file.

By presenting your printed boarding pass, you can get new tickets and travel normally with Prevelis.

What is the new ferry timetable with Prevelis?

Aegeon Pelagos ferry Prevelis that replaced Olympus is traveling to the following ports: Anafi, Santorini, Milos, Piraeus, Heraklion (Crete), Kasos, Karpathos, Diafani (Karpathos), Chalki, Rhodes, and Sitia (Crete).

There are daily ferry routes to different islands of the south Aegean Sea, including the Cyclades, the Dodecanese and Crete. Bear in mind that routes are not always two-way, meaning there are different ferry connections on different days of the week.

Indicatively, Prevelis departs from the port of Piraeus in Athens twice a week: on Mondays and Fridays. The ferry of Aegeon Pelagos then continues its journey in the Aegean.

The new departure times are slightly different from the ones announced by Olympus early in the summer. You can check the new timetable for all destinations on Ferryhopper’s ferry booking engine and see all departure times, as well as the available ferry connections.

As for the trip duration with Prevelis, here are some indicative travel times between directly connected ports:

  • Piraeus - Santorini: 8 hr 30 min
  • Santorini - Anafi: 1 hr 45 min
  • Anafi - Heraklion: 4 hr 20 min
  • Heraklion - Kasos: 6 hr 5 min
  • Kasos - Karpathos: 1 hr 40 min
  • Karpathos - Diafani: 1 hr 5 min
  • Diafani - Chalki: 2 hr 10 min
  • Chalki - Rhodes: 2 hr 15 min
  • Chalki - Karpathos: 3 hr 15 min
  • Kasos - Sitia: 2 hr 55 min
  • Piraeus - Milos: 5 hr 35 min
  • Milos - Santorini: 4 hr 
  • Heraklion - Sitia: 3 hr 10 min
