How to get from Rafina to Syros and Amorgos?

Fast Ferries and Golden Star Ferries have decided to operate a new ferry line that connects Rafina to Syros, Amorgos and other islands of the Cyclades. The name of the new ferry is Golden Express and it will serve the route from Rafina to Syros, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Koufonissi and Amorgos. Up to now, this is the only itinerary connecting Rafina to Syros and Amorgos for 2019.

The route is ideal for endless island-hopping as all the islands are quite convenient for going around other islands! The other interesting part of this ferry itinerary is that the ferry departs from Rafina at 16:30 in the afternoon.

The itinerary and the schedule of Golden Express is a bit different between low and high-season. The schedules are described in the following paragraphs in more detail.

Golden Express from Rafina to Syros, Mykonos, Naxos, and Paros - Low Season

For the period 23/5/2019 - 9/6/2019 and 9/9/2019 - 6/10/2019, Golden Express will serve the ferry line Rafina - Syros - Mykonos - Naxos - Paros. The itineraries will be daily and the departure/arrival times will be the following:

• Rafina: Departure 16:30
• Syros: Arrival 18:30 - Departure 18:40
• Mykonos: Arrival 19:20 - Departure 19:30
• Naxos: Arrival 20:15 - Departure 20:25
• Paros: Arrival 21:00

Ferry from Paros to Rafina

• Paros: Departure 08:00
• Naxos: Arrival 08:35 - Departure 08:45
• Mykonos: Arrival 09:30 - Departure 09:40
• Syros: Arrival 10:20 - Departure 10:30
• Rafina: Arrival 12:30

Golden Express from Rafina to Syros, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Koufonissi and Amorgos - High Season

For the period 23/5/2019 - 8/9/2019, Golden Express will serve the ferry connection Rafina - Syros - Mykonos - Paros - Naxos - Koufonissi - Amorgos (port of Katapola).  The itineraries will be daily and the departure/arrival times will be the following:
