Ferries from Thessaloniki to the North Aegean islands are also in operation in 2024.

The ferry company of Blue Star Ferries serves the Thessaloniki - North Aegean route with crossings departing every Sunday afternoon in the summer months (from June to mid-September) and every Saturday during the rest of the year. The ferry route connects the port of Thessaloniki with the islands of Lemnos, Lesbos, Chios, Samos (ports of Vathy and Karlovasi), Fourni, and Ikaria.

Also, the ferry company of Seajets will normally operate crossings from Thessaloniki to Lemnos and Lesbos with the Superrunner Jet vessel from early July to the end of August 2024. The ferry usually runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 07:00.

Ferries from Thessaloniki to Lemnos

Lemnos is a beautiful island in northeast Aegean, with charming beaches and impressive landscapes. The Blue Star Ferries vessel from Thessaloniki to Lemnos takes you to the island in 5.5-7 hours, while Seajets makes the trip in 4 hours.

Important: during the summer months (early June to mid-September), ferries from Thessaloniki travel only to Vathy port and not to Karlovasi.

Ferry company Blue Star Ferries connects the port of Thessaloniki in Northern Greece with Mykonos and Syros, after stopping at the islands of the North Aegean. The ferry from Thessaloniki to the Cyclades normally departs every Saturday night.

In 2024, you can visit the elegant island of Syros from the port of Thessaloniki. The Thessaloniki - Syros ferry route takes you to the quaint alleys of Syros in about 23 hours. Ferries from Thessaloniki depart at 21:00 and arrive in Syros late in the following afternoon. Ferry tickets start at €95.
