6 tips for packing your summer luggage

Whether you like to start packing in advance or you prefer last-minute travel preparations, here is a list of useful tips to help make packing easy and fun:

1. Fold your t-shirts and light clothes into rolls. This way they will take up less space and will be only slightly wrinkled when you unpack them.  
2. Shoes, heavy clothes and towels should be the first to pack, at the bottom of your luggage. Then, you add the rest on top, folded in rolls as mentioned above.
3. Put your underwear in smaller bags and fit them inside your packed shoes. This is an important step that will save you significant space.
4. Fill the luggage gaps with small items. For example, belts, chargers, cosmetic bags, sandals, or jewelry should be strategically placed to facilitate packing. 
5. Use small bottles to carry toiletries such as creams, shampoos and toothpaste. This way you save space in your toiletry bag as well. 
6. When traveling with friends or family it’s always good to check if they have free luggage space to share! You may be able to count on them for the extra shirt you just bought or the books that you forgot to pack (a bit naughty we know, but sharing is caring, isn’t it?).
