In the ferries’ Duty Free stores, you will find a wide range of products you can choose from, including designer perfumes, makeup and skincare products, confectionery, electronics, and travel essentials. Onboard some vessels, you will even find a Bureau de Change. By reserving online and then collecting during your sailing, you will avoid a commission charge.

While P&O Ferries has a Pet Lounge suitable for dogs and customers traveling with a motor vehicle, DFDS and Irish Ferries require that pets must remain in the vehicle throughout the crossing. Of course, you can visit or walk your pet at pre-arranged times during the course the voyage. 

Don’t forget to bring your pet’s passport and updated health certificate with you, and to check whether you need to add pets to the booking with a pet ticket prior to arrival at the port. 

Tip: when traveling with a pet, we would recommend boarding at least 1 hour before departure, to allow time to verify any pet passports and animal health certificates.
