Where to take the ferry from Athens (Piraeus) to Naxos

You can take the ferry to Naxos from the port of Piraeus in Athens. The port of Piraeus is located approximately 15 km south of the city center of Athens and 45 km from the Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos. You can get to Piraeus by car, taxi, as well as public transport (bus, metro and suburban railway).

Ferries from Piraeus to Naxos normally depart from Gates E6, E7 and E9. Departure gates may change, so we recommend checking your ticket and the electronic display boards located in the port for more information.

Where does the ferry arrive in Naxos?

The ferry arrives at the port of Naxos on the west coast of the island. Naxos Port is located in the capital of the island, close to all visitor amenities and traveler services. You can easily walk to the center of Chora from the port, as well as catch an intercity bus or taxi to popular locations around the island.
