Where to take the ferry from Athens (Piraeus) to Sifnos

You can catch the ferry to Sifnos from the port of Piraeus in Athens. The port of Piraeus is located approximately 15 km south of the city center of Athens and 45 km from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos. 

You can get to the port of Piraeus by car, taxi, as well as public transport, including metro, bus and suburban railway.

Ferries from Athens to Sifnos normally depart from port gates E6, E7, E9, and E10. Departure gates may change, so we recommend checking your booking details and the electronic display boards located at the port for more information.

Where does the ferry arrive in Sifnos?

The ferry arrives at the port of Sifnos in the village of Kamares, a 10-min drive to Apollonia (the capital of Sifnos). There are many traveler amenities at the port area, such as car rentals, hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, a kids’ playground, and free parking space. You can also find a taxi rank, right as you exit the ferry.
